We are in the midst of the storm, and when we get through, life will be different.
When we are on the other side of this pandemic, we believe that we will have a new normal for healthcare.
We believe that we will be integrating virtual care as options all of the time for people, as appropriate.
We have ensured that our software has end-to-end encryption and is HIPAA compliant.

To facilitate care, there is now the ability to pay for your session when you book online.  If you don't want to do this, call the clinic at 306.779.1275 and leave a message.  We can book the appointment from the admin side, and you can pay for the session afterwards.  If you are an EAP, WCB or SGI client, it may prompt you for your credit card, but it will be a $0.00 charge.

Here’s our plan for the week of March 30-April 3, 2020:

Mental Health: virtual sessions have been created for EAP and private, counselling and psychology.  As a client, you have a choice between a telephone appointment or a virtual video session.

Anxiety workshop: Kirsten will be running the Anxiety Workshop virtually Tuesday's in April (April 6, 13, 20, 27) from 6:30-8:00pm.  This will need to run over zoom, as Jane only has individual virtual sessions available at this time.  Please sign up in our software, and you will receive an email message with the link to zoom.
This is free.  This is open to all of us, so don’t hesitate to sign up!

Chiropractic care: We will continue to provide emergency care as directed by the Chiropractic Association of Saskatchewan.  Please book online or call and leave a voicemail at 306.779.1275.  These appointments are limited, and scheduled to allow social distancing.

Physio: We do not have emergency face to face appointments, although the chiros do.  If you are uncertain, email reception@brownstonehealth.ca your situation and we can have a physio get back to you.  If you are a WCB or SGI client, do not worry about cancelled appointments, they are aware of our situation and are understanding.  We do have telehealth services available (virtual physio over a video chat).  While this might not be ideal for every situation, it can be very helpful!
Initially, Deana Karner will be providing our virtual physio sessions.  As time passes, we may have additional physios providing virtual care.  Once we are back to our 'new normal', you will be transferred back to your regular physiotherapist.

Gym: Jenna is ready and scheduling virtual exercise therapy sessions.  Book online!
