Michelle Downs started her movement career with a Kinesiology degree.

In 1991 she convocated with BPAS from the University of Regina.

She then dove into the wonderful world of Pilates. By 2000, she had successfully completed the STOTT PIlates Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrel, Zenga, Halo, Fascial Fitness, Post-Rehab Specialist Certifications. We are pretty sure that she has trained in every Pilates course available! From there, she became a Franklin Method Level One Educator in Toronto, Ontario. Most recently, her passion has carried into the MELT Method. She finished her Level One Certification in San Diego, California.

When asked what makes her tick, she replied, "My main interest is being the best mom and wife. I'm setting the stage for my daughters, so that they can be successful and productive contributors to our big beautiful world. My other interest has always been to help people stay healthy. While studying nursing, I realized that I wanted to help people become and stay healthy rather than looking after them when their health deteriorated- so I switched to Kinesiology and have been loving my life's journey ever since."

When she isn't running classes, Michelle is loving life with her husband, daughters, friends & family through travel, learning, and keeping up with the latest research in exercise therapy, connective tissue health, mental imagery and both the good and bad side of inflammation.
