Colleen has worked with families for over 30 years! In 2004, she completed at Masters of Social Work at the University of Regina, and in 2006 received her designation from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). Her graduate work focused on researching leading experts, theories and techniques that help couples improve their relationship. While couples and relationships are part of her caseload, she also focuses her energy on patients in chronic pain, and those that suffer from depression and anxiety. Creativity and practicality are brought into her work daily. Her work is under the umbrella of systemic theory. A framework of attachment theory and emotional-focused therapy guides her work. She is a sessional lecturer at the University of Regina, and aspires to train other couple therapists in working with couples and to continue to offer retreats and courses which build stronger relationships for couples and families. Colleen has a long history of service to the Regina Community. She is a member of good standing with SASW and AAMFT.
