Olena started at Brownstone Health in May of 2022.  A new position was created for her, and the clinic now welcomes Olena as our Office Manager.  Olena has a PhD in Business, and comes to us from Ukraine.  She is learning about Canadian Health Care as she and her family are busy making Regina a new home. 

Olena loves to travel, and to become familiar with the history, traditions, local people, lifestyles and food of each place she goes.  

She graduated from Donetsk University of Economics and Trade in Ukraine; major Marketing and continuing as a post-graduate student in Marketing Management Department.  Olena was awarded with the PhD degree (Earned Doctorate confirmed by WES international credential evaluation, major: Economics, Organization and Business Management) and with Associate Professor degree in Marketing and Management Department and had been working with Donetsk University of Economics and Trade as an Associate Professor of Marketing and Management Department for about 10 years. From there, she worked for State University of Telecommunications in Ukraine as an Associate Professor in Business Economics and Social Technologies Department.

Olena has authored and co-authored of over 65 published works/ findings (text books, monographs, articles, methodological works) and taken part at more than 30 Ukrainian and international conferences.  For over 5-years, she worked for United Nations Development Program (UNDP) being involved in a donor-funded Project devoted to energy efficiency and environment in the position of a Replication and Dissemination Team Leader.

Olena states: After arriving in Regina, we met some amazing personalities and their families who demonstrated their kindness, sympathy and charisma. My family and I are so happy to be in a process of settling down in such a warm and friendly community.  What drives to be us excited about Canada are clean environment (integration of human habitat and wild nature) and kind/friendly people.
